To bring to life the campaign proposition that avocados make everything better, Bite created an experiential event for Australian Avocados designed to drive mainstream media interest.

We tapped into the wellness craze to position Australian avocados as the ultimate good mood food. We created Avotherapy – a Sydney pop-up delivering a weekend of wellness for avocado lovers. The 350 tickets to the event sold out within a week.

More than 70 media, influencers and stakeholders attended the ‘guactail’ launch party to kick off the weekend. High profile influencer and dietitian Lyndi Cohen delivered free ‘good mood food’ workshops throughout the weekend, and we offered avocado facials, ‘avocardio’ classes and avocado fabric dyeing.

The event attracted national media attention, including stories in The Daily Telegraph, Broadsheet and Concrete Playground. Each program element was covered through editorial media and paid social, amplifying the ways avocados make life healthier.
